These lamps are very easy to assemble. The ceramic base is attractive and modern, as well as the shade, being a neutral linen of medium tan. They look great on a nightstand, or end table. I used these in my vacation rental, and the warm glow is perfect for having side light instead of overhead light. I like them so much that I went ahead and purchased two more for myself after my vine review.
I found this lamp easy to assemble, and I appreciated the unique way the shade is packaged. Lampshades can be bulky and large to ship--but because of the innovation of this shade, its packaging, and the self-assembly, it was simple and compact. The white ceramic design and neutral shades work with my mission/craftsman house. My only comment is I wish the lamp base was slightly heavier--but I am confident it will not tip over unless bumped pretty hard. I wanted to attach a photo of the type of kit you will receive for each lamp, and one of the two lamps assembled and where I have used it, so you can see how nice it is.
